Il Vegas 2010 è un’ala con un feeling C-kite puro, nessun compromesso è stato fatto per raggiungere il completo potenziale freestyle. Ha stabilità e potenza, unita alla massima sicurezza e depower.
Il concetto del Vegas 2010 si inserisce perfettamente nella gamma North 2010. E’ un kite all’avanguardia e potente, progettato per prestazioni orientate al freestyle, aiuta il rider a rifinire il suo stile con sicurezza e facilità. Più simile all’EVO che al Rebel, fornisce un misto di stabilità e potenza di cui hanno bisogno i riders freestyle dei giorni nostri.

Performance

NORTH_VEGAS_01 E’ un kite che non mente a se stesso, progettato per avere il classico feeling del Vegas per la comunità degli utilizzatori del North Vegas. Prendendo i migliori attributi delle serie 2008 e 2009 in modo da ottenre il Vegas più lineare, stabile e bello di tutti i tempi!! L’abbiamo riportato indietro ad un progetto più classico di C-kite, posizionandolo nella gamma North ed incorporando le più recenti tecniche di costruzione incorporando gli ultimi sviluppi del sistema 5th element North. Questo ci ha permesso di consegnare un C-kite senza prezzi da pagare sulla sicurezza e potenziale di depower. Due regolazioni soddisfano le esigenze di riders differenti.
I segmenti della vela ridotti offrono meno peso e caratteristiche di volo più agili. Il peso ridotto della costruzione e l’incremento della velocità dell’aria sul kite, permettono all’ala di essere più efficente nelle rotazioni. Questo è evidente nei kite loops, sentirete il kite risalire verso l’alto dopo il loop, facendovi atterrare dolcemente.
Il Vegas 2010 ha la rigidità che deriva dal disegno compatto del 2009, combinato alla potenza e agilità del modello 2008, il tutto combinato ad una costruzione leggera e robusta. Questo ha creato un kite la cui performance può essere descritta come “ intuitivo e divertente, ma ancora in grado di far impazzire i rider più entusiasti”. Un altro importante aspetto del progetto sul quale abbiamo lavorato nell’ultimo anno e quello di far in modo che la serie dei Vegas di quest’anno sia la più omogenea mai prodotta. Tutte le misure offrono le stesse sensazioni, non importa se stai usando un 7 o un 14mt, incluso velocità di rotazione e erogazione della potenza attraverso la barra. Questo è stato introdotto in modo da minimizzare il tempo di adattamento e la perdita di prestazioni fra le varie misure di ala. Un grosso beneficio per tutti i rider freestyle competitive!

Features

TEIJIN - TECHNOFORCE In order to produce a lightweight and durable kite, North uses Technoforce T9 polyester ripstop for the canopy. This material does not absorb any water and is coated with UV-protection on both sides.	.	PROGRESSION 10- Invented by north At NKB we strive to make the most innovative, durable and user-friendly products on the market. It’s often the smallest details that make a difference and for 2010 we took a close look at all existing production details and began to improve them one by one. The result of our extensive construction overhaul is what we call PROGRESSION 10: A very detailed catalogue of product features that are simple yet highly effective for quality and performance.
FUSION 10 - Invented by north The fusion 10 is a completely new connection between the strut and leading edge. In contrast to normal connections, the forces are no longer supported by a webbing strap but by a flexible line. The line ensures a perfectly clean connection of strut to leading edge even with the smallest struts and offers our strongest strut connection ever. Just a little revolution in strut technology!		TE BATTENS - Invented by north
E DOUBLE - V-PIGTAIL - Invented by north New ways in constructing Front – and Back Pigtails have been found by NKB. No more belt struts are used, but strongest dyneema lines. The advantage of the lines is the flexibility at the edge of the canopy, so they can flex in every single direction, not like stiff belt struts. Further more two layers of strongest Dacron are sewed on all Pigtails which ensures a perfect and flutter free load transmission.		HEAVY TE DACRON - REINFORCEMENT
GLUED - OVERLAP SEAM - Invented by north		CAM BATTENS - Invented by north A major concern in this project has been batten durability. We approached this issue by choosing to use thin, soft battens with construction that has been proven durable through use in windsurfi ng wave sails. These are tough Sglass rather than e-glass battens, and the resin matrix is a vinylester rather than polyester. The fiber to resin ratio is slightly lower than usual so that the battens will be tough and so that they have a smooth resin-rich surface. This smooth surface helps keep stray, loose fibers to a minimum.
SEGMENTED - LEADING EDGE - Invented by north Dacron Leading Edges & Ribs: For all heavily stresses areas, North canopies are manufactured from top-quality 170g or 175g Dacron. This material is equipped with the best possible breaking strength characteristics with usual kite materials and, moreover, it will never delaminate.		KOOK PROOF – CONNECTORS - Invented by north These connectors prevent the number one cause of kite accidents by ensuring that front lines cannot be attached to the back of the kite and back lines cannot be attached to the front.
DEFLATOR PIN The low-drag ribs require a high inflation pressure, thus all valves at the chambers of the Rhino06 are self-closing. Thanks to the worked-in drainage functionality, the air can be let out within a few seconds.		LOAD DISTRIBUTION – PANELS - Invented by north More powerful kite profiles means that the canopy has to carry higher loads resulting in a distorted profile and loss of efficiency. The Load Distribution Panels spread the load from the lines to a wider area keeping the profile smooth and distinct and allowing the kite to perform with maximum efficiency at all times.
POWER PROFILE - Invented by north The Control Attack Bridle always transfers the power evenly to the kite through the Force Mixer and permits controlled changes of the angle of attack. The bridles change the angle of attack as one unit, which results in increased efficiency.		SELF RESCUE - HANDLES These loops attached to the inside of the wingtips make it easier to hold the kite for bodydrag rescue.
